Our Kailua, Mapunapuna and Kauai stores have sales, cashier, lumber and warehouse positions. Our Kapolei Distribution Center has driver and lumber positions. Office and administrative work is located at our main business office in Kailua.

We are a retail operation so we need people seven days a week and many hours of the day. Therefore we appreciate those people who are able to accept flexible full-time and part-time schedules.

Job Descriptions

Cashiers: Performs general cashier duties as directed which include ringing up customer transactions and counting money in cash drawers at the beginning and ending of shifts. Strong customer service and communication skills helpful. Cashier experience preferred but not required.

Lumber Associates: Performs general lumber operations duties as directed which include selling, stocking, and maintaining inventory. Strong customer service and communication skills helpful and prior lumber experience required.

Sales Associates: Performs general store operations duties as directed which include selling, stocking, and maintaining merchandising presence and recovery. Strong customer service and communication skills helpful. Hardware and retail experience preferred but not required.

Receiving/Inventory Associate: Responsible for warehousing, stocking merchandise and other related duties. Must be able to lift at least 50-lbs, use a ladder and work a flexible schedule.

Forklift Operator/Order Filler: Bundles and loads lumber and building materials for outgoing deliveries. Other duties include lumberyard organization, equipment maintenance, inventory counting and other tasks. Must be able to lift up to 100-lbs, be forklift certified, use a tape measure and have strong math skills. Lumberyard, construction or hardware experience required.

Delivered Sales Manager: Assists contractors and homeowners with providing materials for their building projects. Requires Associates Degree (AA) or equivalent with two years sales experience and knowledge of lumber, building materials and hardware. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to negotiate and proven sales and personnel management abilities required. Must be computer savvy and be proficient in Microsoft software including Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Contact Human Resources for more information.
